£100K Short Deck Main Event is down to final six

The winner of the NLH main event, Wai Kin Yong is five-spots away from a back-to-back victory.

The Short Deck Main Event of the Series created another massive prize pool of £10.37 million, with a total of 108 entries (including 55 re-entries).

With the top fifteen places paid, some of the prizes have already been handed out. Co-founder of the series, Richard Yong earned £177,000 with his 15th place, just like Elton Tsang for finishing 14th.

They were joined on the rail by Cary Katz and Tom Dwan, who both added £191,900 to their earnings after finishing 13th and 12th respectively. Russia's Furkat Rakhimov and partypoker pro, Jason Koon both booked a £217,700 score, while Stephen Chidwick continued his incredible run with a £269,600 reward this time. Winner of the £25,000 Short Deck Event, David Benefield exited in 8th place for £368,100.

With the departure of Ming Zhong Liu's in 7th place (£482,200) all of the remaining six are now guaranteed for at least a £611,900 payday. However, the £2,670,000 top prize and the trophy will ensure an exciting final table.
