2010 WSOP Releases The Final Top 20 TOC Votes

The public has spoken and the votes are in for the top nominated players who will take part in the 2010 WSOP Tournament of Champions (TOC). In a recent public announcement the WSOP have released the top 20 vote-getters for 2010.

In official details released by the WSOP, they had reported to have received a staggering 355,081 in total casted votes. Out of the total amount of votes received, Phil Ivey led the way in popularity, accumulating 16,267 votes to secure the number one spot. Surprising to note that Daniel Negreanu was hot on his heels and only fell short of nabbing the number one spot by 29 votes. The only woman to make it to the top 20 list was Jennifer Harman, with 8,206 votes.

In total, 27 people are allowed to participate in TOC event, out of which three places are already taken by previous TOC winners (Annie Duke, Mike Matusow, Mike Sexton) one by the winner of last year’s WSOP Main Event (Joe Cada) and one by the 2009 WSOP Europe Main Event winner (Barry Schulman). Two is chosen by sponsors and the twenty of the remaining places will be fill according to the list of the top 20 vote-getters displayed below.
