Battle of Malta to host "Deluxe Sweden" heads-up showdown

The Battle of Malta will run this November with plenty of great tournaments, and they are also the hosts of a heads-up showdown between Ken Lennaárd and Andreas Bergman aswell. The two Swedish poker pros will battle in four events: heads-up poker, chess, boxing, and a last longer bet in the BOM Main Event.

The two players first encountered each other on a Swedish site, and started publishing nasty comments and blog posts, which eventually lead to the Deluxe Sweden.

According to Bergman, "Ken has the only poker blog that is somehow interesting to read. He's entertaining but at the same time he is very hard headed. If the blog post is about goat breeding in Japan or the bush people in Alaska - Ken knows it all. It's just ridiculous, so I see a chance here to shut his mouth."

Lennaárd sees the match in a very dramatic light aswell: "Bergman is not going to fight with me. He's fighting with himself and his own demons."

Bergmann and Lennaárd will compete in four different events. First, they will both participate in the Battle of Malta Main Event, and whoever lasts longer in the tournament will win. Next up, the two players will play a chess match, followed by a heads-up poker match.

After so much mental exercise, the two players are going to test their physical abilities aswell in a box match (3 rounds, 3 minutes each), and if either of the players decides to withdraw from the fight, they have to pay their opponent €2,000.
