Daniel Alaei wins bracelet #5 in $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship

At this year's WSOP we have seen plenty of final tables where most of the seats were filled with big name regulars, even in huge field events such as the Millionaire Maker, there were four WSOP bracelet winners at the final table. The $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship finale was no different, with Daniel Alaei, Scott Clements, 2012 November Niner Jeremy Ausmus, WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno and Doc ''The Prince of Docness'' Kegal battling it out for the $391.097 first place prize.

18 players returned for Day 3 of Event #21 $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, the chipleader was live Omaha Hi-Low regular Doc ''The Prince of Docness'' Kegal, but Daniel Alaei, Scott Clements, Anthony Zinno, Joe Cassidy, Erik Seidel, Jeremy Ausmus and Eli Elezra were also still in contest for the title.

Seidel finished in 18th place ($20.941), Elezra finished in 17th ($20,941) and Cassidy finished in 11th ($29.943) after which the players continued on one table.

Prince of Docness finished in 10th place and he was soon followed by Jeremy Ausmus, Hausen, Wattel and Zinno.

Zinno lost a big pot to Vaughn and was left short stacked, soon he got the rest of his chips and was called by Alaei, Clements and Miaso. The active players checked down the board and Miaso showed a flush for the winning hand.

Aldridge was eliminated in 5th place and during Level 26 (20,000/40,000) Clements was also sent packing. Miaso opened from the cutoff, Clements shoved his short stack and Miaso called.

Clements: A-K-8-Q (double suited, spades and clubs)
Miaso: A-A-5-5 (suited in hearts).

The board ran out 8-9-9-K-6 and even though Clements flopped a flush draw he failed to get there, he received $129.235 for his fourth place finish while Miaso increased his stack to 3.200.000

Not much later 4-time WSOP bracelet winner Alaei opened from the button and Vaughn called. On the flop fo T-5-2 Vaughn check/raised all-in and Alaei called.

Alaei: 2-A-T-3
Vaughn: 4-6-8-3

The turn was a 7 and the river was a 5 and with that Vaughn was eliminated.

Kyle Miaso: 2.800.000
Daniel Alaei: 1.900.000

The heads-up ended during Level 29 (40,000/80,000). In the final hand Miaso opened, Alaei called, then lead out on the rainbow flop of T-J-7. Miaso raised the bet then called all-in.

Miaso: K-6-8-K (suited in hearts)
Alaei: Q-8-T-T

The 2 of hearts on the turn gave Miaso a draw for the low pot and a flush draw, but a blank 6 on the river meant that Daniel Alaei was the champion.

Alaei has won his fifth WSOP bracelet, four of these came from an Omaha variant.
