Daniel Negreanu's 40th Birthday Party

As we have previously reported, PokerStars Team Pro Daniel Negreanu celebrated his 40th birthday this weekend at the Marquee club in Las Vegas, and according to the participants, it was a huge party.

Kid Poker's birthday party, which lasted two days, was like a celebration of poker itself, with pretty much everyone from poker's elite showing up to celebrate with the Canadian pro.

Negreanu, who is one of the most accomplished players of the last decade, is also one of the most well-known poker characters, he has done an amazing job making poker more and more popular.

Bluff Magazine ranks the most important individuals in the industry every year in their Power 20 list. Only PokerStars' former CEO, Mark Scheinberg, Caesars Interactive Entertainment CEO Mitch Garber, bwin.party CEO Norbert Teufelberger, head of New Jersey regulation board leader David Rebuck, and WSOP CEO Ty Stewart were ranked above Negreanu.

Negreanu was the only poker player on the list, and Bluff magazine writes about him as a role model for aspiring players looking to get a sponsorship deal, since he managed to stay in the spotlight for the past 10 years. Negreanu is pretty much synonymous with PokerStars for most people, he is the most marketable face in todays poker, and he is the only one who has always been in the Bluff Power 20 list.

Daniel is active on Twitter, he publishes blogs and vlogs, he is really smooth with both the poker and the mainstream media, and he is a very approachable ambassador of the game.

Negreanu, however, is no mere poker celebrity, he won the Bluff Magazine Player of the Year award in 2013 with the best season of his life.
