Dominik Nitsche takes down the last High Roller in Rozvadov

The smallest big event at the end of this year's Partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Germany festival generated a massive 120 entries in total for a €1,140,000 total prize pool.

Patrik Antonius, Michael Chi Zhang, and Viktor Blom have already hit a six-figure score in King's Casino and now the German contingent also adds a name to the list of champions. The €10,300 High Roller was one of the last events in small casino-town at the German-Czech border and even though many top players have already left the building to fly home, it still attracted plenty of players.

Therefore, the field was softer than usual in a €10K event, as Dominik said in his winner interview: "The field was good. Lots of recreational players that Leon told to play; there was The Wolf, who is a legend of the game, and those guys were in for five or six bullets each. There were some good spots in there; obviously, a lot of tough players in there but the really tough players had left; the German guys had enough of Rozvadov and went home, so I said to myself that I couldn’t miss this."

However, as he mentioned, there were still many experienced players in the tournament and several of them made the final table. Fellow German, Ole Schemion got 7th for €50,000, while Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates busted in 5th place for €80,000. The "Germans" leaving early didn't mean, there weren't at least three of them in the finals, Koray Aldemir also made a deep run, he finished 4th for a cool €100,000.

Philipp Zukernik left the table in 3rd place for €130,000 so it was the "Flying Dutchman", Marcel Luske and Dominik Nitsche, who dueled for the title and the prize. Dominik was able to surmount the last hurdle and took down the trophy and the €300,000 coming with it.

Partypoker MILLIONS Germany €1,100 Finale

King's Casino has become one of the busiest poker hubs in Europe, which is also proven by the number of participants in the Finale event. 668 players registered and they also made 203 re-entries. It was a Turkish player, Mustafa Biz, who was doing the business the best and he scooped the tournament and probably more importantly the €175K first place prize.
