IPN Gives Away Bad Beat Jackpot in Freerolls

IPN, shutting down in May, has recently withdrawn its Bad Beat Jackpot promotion. The €145,000 left in the prize pool is given away in freerolls for players who have played at least one raked hand in the past 365 days.

International Poker Network parent company GTECH announced last December that it would focus on the regulated markets in the future. As a result, IPN, or the former Boss Media, operating on the .com market as one of the five networks managed by GTECH online gaming branch SPIELO G2, is to shut down soon. The remaining four networks, Canadian Poker Network, Poker Club Italia, Spain Poker Network and Svenska Spel are active on the regulated markets.

Most major rooms have already left the network, which is rumoured to accept players until the end of May 2014. Meanwhile, rooms still operating as an IPN skin, including latest flagship Bet-at-home, can expect a last wave of increased traffic in April: the network has decided to withdraw its Bad Bead Jackpot promotion and give away the sum in a series of freerolls.

Between 2 and 30 April, IPN offers five freerolls with €25,000 up for grabs in each of the remaining four from 9 through 30 April. Only players who have played at least one raked hand at the network tables in the last 365 days before the given tournament are eligible to participate. The field cap of each tournament is 5,000 and registration opens four hours prior to the start, which means it is worth registering as soon as possible, with the limited amount of seats bound to be occupied quickly.

It goes without saying that the tourneys offer a great EV, with not too many €25,000 freerolls around to play.

The schedule of the remaining tournaments is as follows:
