Play continued on Level 18 (25,000/50,000 - 5,000 ante) but we had to wait until Level 21 (50,000/100,000 -10,000 ante) for the first elimination.

Ike Haxton shoved for 1.470,000 from the button with T-9 suited, he was called by Joe McKeehen's A-K in the big blind and the best hand held up.

By Level 22 (60,000/120,000 - 20,000 ante) David Peters was down to 1.360.000 and he decided to push with A-9. Kenney called with A-T in the big blind and Peters couldn't improve.

A few hands later Mandavia limped with A-J in the small blind, then shoved all-in after Kanit raised to 290,000. Kanit snapcalled with 7-7, creating a 4.680.000 pot. The board ran out T-9-8-4-Q and Mandavia scooped the pot with a straight.

Ankush Mandavia - 7.230.000
Bryn Kenney - 4.380.000
Joe McKeehen - 2.885.000

Mandavia lost a couple of big pots to drop down to 4.700.000 and by Level 23 (80,000/160,000 - 20,000 ante) he was the shortstack.

After two folds he shoved for 2.135.000 from the small blind with K-4 and Kenney called from the big blind with K-9. The T-J-6-3-7 board didn't help Mandavia, he was eliminated in third for $787,640.

Bryn Kenney - 7.945.000
Joe McKeehen - 6.550.000

The stacks were even for a while but Kenney lost a big pot during Level 24 (100,000/200,000 - 30,000 ante). McKeehen raised to 400,000 with K-6 and Kenney called with A-2.

Kenney check/called 340,000 on the Q-6-4 flop then both players checked the 3 on the turn. The river was yet another 3, Kenney checked for the third time, McKeehen bet 1,000,000 and Kenney check/raised to 3.370.000.

McKeehen thought long and hard but eventually called with second pair while Kenney dropped to 3.625.000.

Kenney doubled up not much later with AK against 9-8 and took over the lead during Level 25 (120,000/240,000 - 30,000 ante).

Kenney woke up with A-K again and raised to 525,000, McKeehen shoved with A-3 and Kenney snap-called all/in for 5,205,000.

Not much later the fate of the title was decided, McKeehen raised then called all-in with 5-5 against Kenney's K-7 and the board ran out 7-4-7-3-J.

Bryn Kenney collected the first 7-figure score of his career, pushing his career live tournament earnings above $8 million.
