Phil Hellmuth Still on a Losing Edge

Phil Hellmuth still haven't improved. Once the best poker player in the world is now only the 4th in the All Time Money List with $12,440,926. Winning 11 bracelets, no one can come close to his achievements, and of course he is a talented and witty player, however, he hasn't won a single tournament for more than 3 years now.

Phil Hellmuth weaving goodbye to his good years?

He usually goes all-in with stronger cards, and and all the time gets beat by worse cards, with the luck of his (mostly weaker, or less seasoned) opponents.
As an example, take a look at this video. It's the PokerStars Big Game show, where his bad beat series seemed to continue. With A-9 he went all-in against an amateur player, Wiggins, whose K-K hand he beat easily with the 10-9-9 flop. The players agreed to deal the turn-river 4 times, and despite Hellmuth's 90% chance of winning, he got beat 3 times out of 4. That's what I call bad luck.

In the last episode of the show, he lost this all-in heads-up with his 10-8 against Harlow's 9-8 on an A-8-8-4-9 board. The pot was a little more than $100,000, and they both went all-in pre-flop. You can see the action in the video below.

The number one primadonna of poker usually has issues with bad beats, he is really aggressive when on a tilts, you can check on YouTube, there are lots of videos of him being out of his mind. I am so sorry to say this, but it seems like Hellmuth lost his touch, the new generation is too much for him. I don't know how long he might want to continue his career, but if he plays like that, the new generation will only remember him as a clown with a bad attitude and even better entrances.
