Phil Ivey and Tom "durrrr" Dwan promote new poker variant in Macau

10-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Ivey and Tom "durrrr" Dwan are the stars of a new video, which promotes a poker variant called 6+ Hold'em in Asia.

Phil Ivey and Tom "durrrr" Dwan have been regulars at the high stakes games in Macau for years and apparently there is a new game played in town, called 6+ Holdem.

The game is similar in most of the elements to regular hold'em games, the main difference is that there are only 36 cards in a 6+ deck. Every card between 2-5 gets removed from the deck and an Ace serves as a high card as well as a 5 (in case the player can make a straight with it).

As a result of the removed cards, 6+ Holdem is a game with a lot of gambling and hand equities running close, which creates a lot of action, which is the kind of game that the weathly Asian businessmen prefer.

It's not clear how the two players became the "Asian ambassadors" for 6+ Holdem, according to some sources a sponsor from Macau has asked them to participate in the promotion process.
