Prop Betting Reality Show Debuts Tomorrow with Host Joe Ingram

The new on-demand streaming service PokerGO, who recently re-launched the classic poker show Poker After Dark is debuting a brand new reality show. The program will feature big name poker players like Daniel Negreanu and Antonio Esfandiari taking on entertaining prop bets  - they can win big money if they succeed, but they will have to endure embarrassing punishments for losses. Your host is going to be Joe Ingram.

Proposition betting is a major part of poker culture, Weight loss is a reoccurring theme, Walter Fisher won a $1 million from Bill Perkins that way. Perkins, the eccentric billionaire is one of the most prolific facilitator of these prop bets, and he can get quite creative sometimes: back in March, he bet brothers Jamie and Matt Staples they couldn't get within one pound of each other's weight in under a year - Perkins offered them 50:1, his $150,000 against their $3,000 to close the 170 pound gap.

This is the kind of fun you can expect on the Major Wager, PokerGO's new prop bet reality show. It is hosted by Joe Ingram, who has his own major wager going on with Perkins: he has to swim a mile in the ocean by the end of September, even though at the time the $5K:$15K bet was made in August, he never swam in his life. Ingram has a popular YouTube channel where he interviews fellow poker pros on his podcast Poker Life, streams online poker live and also breaks down hands, focusing on his favorite game, Pot-Limit Omaha.

Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu and Samantha Abernathy are already confirmed to appear on the show, which will feature segments where the participants have to drive race cars, play top golf and even pole dance.

In related news, PokerGO has released the line-ups for Poker After Dark's upcoming episodes. You can look forward to seeing Doug Polk, Daniel "Jungleman" Cates and Brian Rast make their first appearances on the show.
