Steve O'Dwyer takes down Partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK SHR
The high-roller regular added $585,000 to his all-time winnings, after outlasting a star-studded field of 51.
While the WSOPC is at full speed at Rozvadov, players who prefer the Dusk Till Dawn instead of the King's Casino, have no reason to be sorrow either, as the Partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK is underway, with some major events.
The £25k Super High Roller generated a total of 51 entries, to create a prize pool of £1,236,750 ($1,607,775). Some household names showed up to play, however, only 6 of them walked away with a prize.
It was former WSOP Main Event champion, Ryan Reiss, who suffered from the most painful departure, as he got 7th end exited empty-handed. O'Dwyer was on the other side of the run-good, as he was unstoppable and finished off all of his opponents on the final table, seemingly with no efforts.
Niall "firaldo" Farell was the first player to bust ITM, he got 6th for $78,000. Farell was followed by Aymon Hata, who received a paycheck of $130,000.
High-roller crusher, Christopher Vogelsang eliminated in 4th place, good for $182,000, while Turkey's Orpen Kisacikoglu got 3rd for $260K.
Steve started the heads-up with an 8-1 chip lead over his Uruguayan opponent, Fabrizio Cataldi and he closed out the tournament pretty quickly. Despite holding pocket rockets, Fabrizio lost the final hand of the tournament, against the turned full of O'Dwyer's and had to settle for 2nd place and $372,775 coming with it.
With this win, Steve now has more than $24 million in all-time earnings and is less than $200,000 away from the top 10.
Final results
