Super High Roller Bowl returns in May

The SHRB will once again feature a $300,000 buy-in, which results in an estimated prize pool of $15 million.

Since the $1,000,000 buy-in Big One is no longer available for pros, the Super High Roller Bowl has became the top High Roller event of the year. Aria, the host casino confirmed that this year's event will be held between May 28-31.

The third edition of the Super High Roller Bowl, with its $300,000 buy-in will be open to 50 players max. 35 of those will be poker pros, as Aria reserves 15 places to their High Roller guests, who will be weathly businessmen. Since their will be no rake, a full house (pun intended) will result in $15,000,000.

Players start with 300,000 chips on the 600/1200-200 level, and play 75-minute levels. A "shot clock" of 40 seconds will be in action to ensure viewer satisfaction, but all players will have 5 1-minute timebank chips for tough decisions.

The first Super High Roller Bowl has been held in 2015, with a half-million buy-in, and has been won by Brian Rast for $7,500,000. Last year's event, with a lowered buy-in has been won by Rainer Kempe for $5,000,000, edging out his compatriot Fedor Holz, who bagged $3,500,000.
