Thecortster wins $1.6 million, Gus Hansen down almost $1 million in September

Cort "thecortster" Kibler-Melby has been crushing the high stakes games in the past few days, he won $1.65 million in the last 7 days, which is one of the biggest runs in recent high stakes history. His biggest victim, and the biggest loser of the month is Gus Hansen, who is down almost $1 million in September.

Thecortster had 5 great sessions in a row, on September 7 he won $784,849, the next day he won $380,676, the day after that he won $226,244, and he also posted a $164,960 win on September 10 and a small win on September 11 ($16,149). Accross all these sessions he played  a total of 9,369 hands, for a whopping profit of around $176/hand.

Thecortster won some of the money from his fellow limit game specialist, Trueteller, but he won the most from Gus Hansen, who is once again the biggest loser of the month, having dropped a stunning $921,000 this September in 15,137 hands.

The biggest winner in September besides Thecortster (who is opted out from long term high stakes tracking, this is why we only know his last 7 day's score) is currently Patrik "Finddagrind" Antonius with $435,448 in winnings. SanIker ($378,576) and Phil "Polarizing" Ivey ($371.791) are also having profitable months, while Gus Hansen is followed by "bbvisbadforme" (-$242,114) and Daniel "jungleman12" Cates (-$241,353).
