Get all the details and statistics about the MicroMillions 8, which concluded this Sunday! Find out which players and countries were the most profitable, and what the leaderboard winners received.
As we have previously reported, the PokerStars MicroMillions 8 wrapped up this weekend, with Hungarian player 69FABIAN69 winning the Main Event title and more than $100,000.
The series hosted 100 events, and awarded prizes of more than $7.8 million.
There was extra motivation for players do try to play as many events and do as well as they can, with the leaderboard winner receiving tickets for every Sunday Million held in the next 6 months.
This honor was eventually earned by Russian player Inyzh, who managed to cash an incredible 41 times!
The remainder of the top ten received five Sunday Million tickets each, and everyone between 11th and 100th place on the leaderboard earned one Sunday Million ticket each.
The Russian domination was clear throughout the series, although they had the biggest number of entrants also. Seven of the ten players on the leaderboard were Russian, and in total, 16 of them won MM8 titles.
Throughout the 100 events, 206,746 Russian players registered, and they've finished in the money 27,530 times.
Russian players reached the final tables 135 times and won more than $1.1 million, almost double of what the next country, Germany managed to win.
Greek players were the most successful if we consider the amount of entrants. They entered 32,270 times, and managed to win six titles, that is one title for every 5378 players.
Romanian player sergiou became the fifth player ever to win two MicroMillions titles, but probably the most remarkable achievement was that of Nikolo5, who managed to get to the final tables four times, which is a truly incredible achievement with the huge field sizes.
