Daniel ''jungleman12'' Cates crushing the high stakes, FTP pros continue to lose millions

As we recently reported, Daniel ''jungleman12'' Cates had a bit of an accident when he ended up 1500 miles from his destination when we tried to travel to Mexico to play some online poker. His first couple sessions at the tables were not very successful either, but in the last couple of days he has been on a tear, winning more than $1.4 million on Full Tilt Poker tables

.

Daniel quickly jumped on the top of the monthly and yearly leaderboard with his results, while Gus Hansen and Isildur1 are the biggest losers of the year.

Daniel put in a session that lasted a whopping 27 hours and resulted in profits of $677,000, and in this time he only left the tables for 1 hour. He is the biggest winner in 8-game and NLHE this month, and with this amazing session his lifetime winnings on Full Tilt Poker now exceed the $10 million mark. The official second and third place goes to punting-peddler ($683,000 in profits) and Vladimir ''GVOZDIKA55'' Schemelev (up $148,000), but the biggest winner behind Jungleman is probably Alex ''Alexonmoon'' Luneau, he recently opted out from tracking websites, but you can still see that he won $1.3 million.

He shipped the biggest pot of the month also in Pot Limit Omaha against Gus Hansen.

The two players got caught up in a preflop raising at the 300/600 PLO tables, that saw Hansen 5betting than flatting a 6bet with K9T7 double suited against Alexonmoon's AA96, suited in clubs just to jam his remaining $10,000 into the pot on the 835 two clubs flop. Alex snapcalled an held up to scoop a $337,000 pot.

Hansen lost a totalof $806,000 this month, with only the other Full Tilt Poker Pro, Viktor ''Isildur1'' Blom losing more, he lost almost $1.2 million. Phil ''OMGClayAiken'' Galfond also lost $780,000.

The biggest winner of the year is Dan Cates with $2.8 million in winnings, the biggest losers are Gus Hansen ($4,3 million) and Isildur1 ($2 million).
