EPT100 - Ensan leads Main Event final table, Barer chipleader in the High Roller

Hossein Ensan is leading the EPT Barcelona Main Event final table with a commanding lead, while Ami "UhhMe" Barer is leading the star-studded field in the €10,300 High Roller with 21 players left.

Day 5 of the Main Event started with 25 players, who were battling for the 8 spots of the official final table. Bram Haenraets, a Dutch recreational player was leading the field, but Day 5 didn't go well for the amateur, he bubbled the final table after shipping AT into Hossein Ensan's Aces.

Plenty of the big names busted out before the final table also, Nick Rampone, Maximilian Senft and Sergei Popov busted, but young Polish pro and PCA 2014 winner Dominik Panka fell just short of the final table also, finishing in 11th place.

The leader of the final table is Hossein Ensan, a player from Germany, and the only one remotely close to his 10.3 million chips is Sam Phillips, who is an online regular by the name of "buckguy2200" with online winnings of more than $3 million, he will begin play with 9 million chips.

Besides Ensan and Phillips the biggest name in the final is probably WPT Venice winner Andrea Dato.

The first place prize is €1.26 million, and you can follow the live stream of the final table, with revealed hole cards, at the bottom of this article.

Day 2 of the €10,300 High Roller also brought plenty of excitement, with plenty of big names making the final 21, but a lot of big names also fell by the end of Day 2, Kent Lundmark, Dan Smith, Mickey Petersen, George Danzer, Shaun Deeb and Toby Lewis were all eliminated.

Ami "UhhMe" Barer, who is a well-known online crusher as well as the winner of the 2014 Aussie Millions Main Event, emerged as the chipleader with 1.95 million chips, which is barely more than Ismail Erkenov's 1.92 million.

With players like Jason Mercier, Stephen Chidwick, Juha Helppi, Dylan "ImaLucSac" Linde, Angel Guillen and Vladimir Troyanovskiy still in action, it's safe to say that whatever happens, the final table is going to be full of remarkable players battling for the €747,200 first prize.
