Winamax introduces "Incognito" tables

French poker room Winamax has joined the "fight" to protect it's recreational players. They have recently introduced their anonymous tables, which players can find under the "Incognito" name.

Plenty of online poker rooms have been coming up with ways to keep their recreational players at the tables for a longer time. PokerStars and Full Tilt have introduced lottery S&G's, which are attractive to recreational players because of the chance for big prizes, but unattractive for regulars because of the huge variance. Microgaming has introduced arcade-type mini games: players who play at the Blaze Poker tables have the chance to shoot with a "Blazing Cannon" after every 20 won raked pots and can earn prizes by doing so. Anonymous tables, segregated tables and changeable nick names are some other methods rooms have tried in the past.

A couple of days ago French room Winamax has also introduced anonymous tables, called "Incognito" tables. At the Incognito tables, no nicknames can be seen, which helps protect the recreational players, since regulars don't have a chance to immediately join a table when they notice a weaker player at the tables. Incognito tables are available on every stake and can also be played on Android and Windows Phone devices.
