Connor Drinan leads EPT Malta €25,000 High Roller final table

Connor Drinan is the chipleader in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Malta €25,500 High Roller final table, leading a tough line-up that includes Dani "Ansky" Stern, Run It Once coach Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood and Martin Finger, all battling for the €572,000 first prize.

42 players returned for Day 2 of the EPT €25,500 Super High Roller, and the official prizepool was also announced. Players will battle for a total of €2.156.000 with €572,300 going to the winner. The chipleader at the start of play was Oleksii Khoroshenin with 277.600.

The best 13 spots were paid and Sorel Mizzi finished as the bubble boy, his A-T couldn't overcome Connor Drinan's A-J. Philipp Gruissem finished in 13th (K-Q < T-T) , he was soon followed by Andreas Eiler, Agshin Rasulov and Jeff Rossiter.

The 8-handed final table was set after Ramin Hajiyev shoved for 210,000 from middle position (8k/16k-2k ante level) and ran into Dzmitry Urbanovich's A-A, which improved to a full house on the A-4-5-K-K board.
