WPT Seminole Main Event - Levy leads final 18, Ebanks, Heimiller, Charania and Heimiller still in
92 players started Day 3 of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Main Event, the chip leader was Raj Vohra with 1.675 million chips. The field was filled with huge names including Faraz Jaka, Marvin Rettenmaier, Brian Hastings, Noah Schwarz and WPT commentator Vince Van Patten, just to name a few. By the end of the day there were 18 players left, the chip leader is Ely Levy, but David Peters, Joe Ebanks, Mohsin Charania and Dan Heimiller are still in the hunt for the $1 million first place prize.
The first player to bust was Evan Panesis, he was soon followed by PCA High Roller champion Jake Schindler, Anthony "holdplz" Spinella, Marvin Rettenmaier, Kevin "1$ickDisea$E" Eyster, Noah Schwartz, Brian Hastings, Faraz Jaka, Jared Jaffee, Vince Van Patten and Ravi Raghavan, amongst others.
The final player to bust was Steven McKoy, the American player raised from early position to 110,000 (25k/50k-5k ante blind level), Cornel Cimpan shoved for 330,000 and Vladimir Dobrovolskiy re-shoved from the button and McKoy called all-in for 1.1 million.
McKoy had A-K, Cimpan showed J-J and Dobrovolskiy showed T-T, and the Q-8-2-5-6 meant the elimination of McKoy, while Cimpan tripled up.
18 players will return for Day 4, the chip leader is Ely Levy with 6.285 million chips, the plan for Day 4 is to play down to the 6-handed final table.
