EPT Malta schedule released

The Malta stop of the European Poker Tour debuted last season with huge success and the organizers are trying to top it this year with an even bigger poker festivel. Between October 20 - 31 players can participate in a total of 76 tournaments.

On August 18 the 12th season of the European Poker Tour will kick off in Barcelona. The Barcelona schedule has already been released and the Malta schedule was also released a couple of days ago.

The tournaments will once again take place in the Portomaso Casino and there are several big events that players can look forward to, including the €25,000 High Roller and €10,000 High Roller tournaments.

The first EPT Malta was held in March 2015 and was a big success with a total of 895 players registering for the Main Event. The winner was Jean Montury who walked away with €687,400.

While the organizers expect an even bigger turnout than in March, it's important to note that the World Series of Poker Europe overlaps with EPT Malta.
The WSOPE will run between October 8 - 24 with the Main Event starting on the 18th. The organizers however expect that players who bust the Main Event in Berlin are going to travel to Malta straight away.
