WSOPE 2015 - Kevin MacPhee wins €10,450 Main Event
The American grinder defeated a tough final table that included JC Alvarado and Andrew ''Luckychewy'' Lichtenberger on his way to winning his second WSOP bracelet and second biggest lifetime score.
The 2015 WSOPE Main Event final table kicked off on Saturday with 6 players fighting for the bracelet and the €883,000 first place prize.
Seat 1: Kevin MacPhee - 5.015.000
Seat 2: Kilian Kramer - 435.000
Seat 3: JC Alvarado - 1.070.000
Seat 4: Felix Bleiker - 215.000
Seat 5: Andrew Lichtenberger - 2.135.000
Seat 6: David Lopez - 520.000
In the first hand of play David Lopez doubled up with T-T against JC Alvarado's AQ and not much later Alvarado doubled with AK against Lichtenberger's QQ.
On Level 25 (20,000/40,000-5,000 ante) Felix Bleiker shoved his final three big blinds with QJ, Lopez called with A8 and the best hand held up.
The next elimination was Kilian Kramer, he got his stack of 270,000 in the middle with AT, unfortunately for him MacPhee woke up with AK suited and Kramer couldn't improve his hand.
He was soon followed by Andrew Lichtenberger who shoved 660,000 chips with QT suited, but was in terrible shape against MacPhee's QQ.
The heads-up was set with the elimination of JC Alvarado and MacPhee could start with a comfortable lead.
Kevin MacPhee - 6.535.000
David Lopez - 2.855.000
The battle lasted more than four hours, Lopez managed to turn it around and get a 2-1 chip lead by Level 27 (30,000/60,000-10,000 ante) but MacPhee won several big pots and made a big comeback.
In the final hand MacPhee opened to 140,000, Lopez 3bet to 435,000, MacPhee shoved and Lopez snapcalled all-in for 1,950,000.
MacPhee showed A4 suited but Lopez was a big favorite with his KK.
The board ran out 7-5-2-3-J and MacPhee made a wheel, winning his second WSOP bracelet and winning the second biggest prize of his career.
Final table results

4. Andrew Lichtenberger - €225.000
