Yachou defeated a final table that included Michael ''The Grinder'' Mizrachi, Jonathan Jaffe, Darren Elias, Noah Schwarz and Vlad ''dariepoker'' Darie.

The registration for this special tournament was only open to past WPT champions ($15,000 buy-in) and the winners in this season of the WPT also received a seat.

There were a total of 64 entrants, creating a prize pool of $1,060,000 but there were additional prizes aswell, including a 2016 Corvette provided by the main sponsor of the event, Monster Products.

The 6-handed final table kicked off with the following stacks and seating.

Seat 1. Darren Elias – 324.000 (27 bb)
Seat 2. Farid Yachou – 264.000 (22 bb)
Seat 3. Michael Mizrachi – 871.000 (73 bb)

Seat 5. Noah Schwartz – 532.000 (44 bb)
Seat 6. Jonathan Jaffe – 996.000 (83 bb)

Play kicked off on Level 19 (6,000/12,000-2,000 ante) with a 30 second shot clock (officially dubbed ''Action Clock'').

Darie was down to just 82,000 early on but managed to double up three times and take over the lead.

The first player to be eliminated was Darren Elias, on Level 21 (10,000/20,000-3,000 ante) he shoved all-in for 261,000 with Q-T suited, unfortunately for him Yachou woke up with J-J behind him and the board brought no help to Elias.

Two hands later Schwartz shoved all-in for 229,000 after Mizrachi opened to 40,000 and Mizrachi called.

Schwartz showed A-5 against Mizrachi's Q-J suited but a Jack hit the river to send him packing.

Five hands later Jaffe was also eliminated, he ran his K-T suited into Darie's Q-Q and failed to improve.

Seat 2. Farid Yachou – 813.000
Seat 3. Michael Mizrachi – 1.589.000
Seat 4. Vlad Darie – 799.000

On Level 22 (12,000/24,000-4,000 ante) Mizrachi raised the button then called all-in for 366,000 with K-9 against Yachou's 4-4 and the board ran out K-T-4-6-8, giving Yachou a set and setting up the heads-up battle.

Seat 2. Farid Yachou – 1.656.000
Seat 4. Vlad Darie – 1.545.000

During the same blind level, Yachou called Darie's raise of 50,000 then check/raised his 50,000 bet to 250,000 on the 8-2-2 (two hearts and a club) flop and Darie called. The turn was the Ten of clubs and Yachou continued for 200,000.

Yachou shoved all-in when an offsuit eight hit the river and Darie called. Yachou showed A-2 for a full house while Darie showed K-7 for King high.

Yachou took down the event for $381,600 and a 2016 Corvette.
