Ongame Network to close soon?

According to the latest, currently unconfirmed rumours the network will close on September 30, check out the details below!

The Ongame network was once one of the leading networks on the market but in the past few years they have fallen all the way down to the 23rd place on the .COM/.EU market. According to PokerScout there were an average of 100 players playing cash games at the same time in the network in the past week.

Several sources in the industry are speculating that the network is going to stop providing its services to players soon. Players in the network don't have to to worry about their funds in the rooms, the balances can be withdrawn without any problem.

The NYX Gaming Group, the previous owners of the network have only recently sold the network (in March 2016), so the news are pretty surprising.

If the rumours prove to be true, sites like BestPOker, EverlastPoker, FullDeckPoker, GoldenPalace, Heypoker, PAF, Paradise Poker, PokerIdol, Redbet, RedKings, ScandicBookmakers, Skiller and WhiteBet all have to look for a new home.

According to Pokerfuse, Whitebet Poker (owned by Evoke Gaming) will continue in the Microgaming (MPN) network and since Evoke also owns Redbet also, they are also likely to end up in the MPN.

It will be interesting to see which competing network could profit from the closure of the network, but we would like to stress it once more that as of now there have been no official announcements in the matter.
