Doug "WCGRider" Polk responds to Negreanu's claims that higher rake is better for players

The American pro delivers a spot on and quite funny analysis why Daniel Negreanu's claims are false.

Not long ago, Daniel Negreanu appeared on the Rikar Aberg show where he claimed that increased rake at the micro/low stakes is actually beneficial to the health of the game.

He explained that if rake is too high, no professionals will join the games because they are unbeatable, which is better for the players at the table, because they will be losing money at a slower pace than they would be if surrounded pros.

Negreanu's backwards-ass logic however fails to take into account that there are recreational players who sit down to play with the goal to actually win, instead of the goal to lose more slowly.
