Bryan Paris Is the Second Player to Break $10 Million in Online Earnings

“Bparis” joins Chris “moorman1” Moorman over the 10-mil line.

An article on pocketfives.com quotes Paris about his achievement:

“It feels great! It’s a fantastic feeling to be only one of two people who has accomplished something like this. I was never the absolute best at any given time,” he said. But I've maintained a spot close to the top throughout nearly a decade of sweeping changes to the online MTT landscape. I liken it to the all-time hits record in baseball; you don't necessarily need the best batting average, but you have to show up to play consistently and put in a solid performance over a prolonged period.”

The 31-year old poker player was born in Huntington Beach, California in the US but currently resides in Winnipeg, Canada. The same P5s piece also says that he became aware of the fact he’s approaching the land mark when he was looking for things to put in his Twitch channel’s (bparispoker) bio. He became more focused on online poker after the birth of his first child, before that, he played in live tournaments more often. By now his online cashes outgrew his live ones ($711 160) by more than 10:1.

The first player to reach $10 million in online earnings was Chris Moorman. The Englishman achieved this in 2013 at the age of 27. His total is $13.825 million currently.

According to the P5s tracking, Nicolas "PokerKaiser" Fierro, Sebastian "p0cket00" Sikorski, Shyam "g's zee" Srinivasan, Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen are also due to go over $10 million relatively soon; Fierro being the closest with his $9.930 million.
