Fedor Holz Joins Partypoker
Partypoker just signed a giant poker star: Fedor Holz is joining their team of sponsored pros - although that wording is questionable since the German player has retired from professional poker according himself, so he's a mere recreational player with a major room's sponsorship, technically.
By the age of 24 Fedor Holz has amassed over $23 million in live tournament earnings alone - his major success in poker allowed him to cut down on the hours he spends at the card tables, both live and online. He described this state as "retirement" multiple times, and announced it after the 2016 WSOP. Since then he still won over $4.8 million in different high rollers - that's only type of tournament he's willing to play these days.
Holz has shifted his focus on his start-up mind coaching company Primed. Scott Blumstein wore the badge of this company on his shirt when he won this year's WSOP Main Event, as the two discussed it on Holz's first and so far only live streamed interview.
Now, he announced on Twitter that he will be partnering with partypoker. He cited the plans and vision of the poker room as the reason for why he chose to do so, which seems credible since at this point it would hardly be possible to convince him by simply throwing money at him.
From this month on I'll partner with @partypoker. I'm excited about their plans for the future of poker and I'm happy to be part of it.

With Holz party has the top two European live tournament earners signed with them: Holz is number one with his $23.3 million, ahead of the British Sam Trickett who has $20.6 million. Partypoker also has other great poker personalities on their payroll, such just Mike Sexton, who was recently apponted as their chairman, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Beata "WildHungarian" Jambrik and Patrick Leonard. They've seen a constant increase in player traffic recently, profiting off of the bad reputation PokerStar has online these days.
Also, please remember that you can take part in a $5,600 Excluisve Rake Race as well as a $15,000 Pooled Rake Race on partypoker if you join through the link here.
