Patrik Antonius had some not so flattering words to share about the current state of the poker world.

Antonius, who has been one of the most feared high stakes cash game players for more than a decade rarely plays tournaments. However the €111,111 buy-in One Drop High Roller event in Rozvadov got his attention. Altough he didn't make it too deep in the event - busting on day two - Antonius still caught the attention of the media by sharing his harsh opinion on the game he used to be obsessed with.

The Finnish legend is one of the biggest cash game winners both live and online but he has never been a big fan of tournaments. It seems like this short affair with the tournament world won't make the former model fall in love with this form of the game either. Patrik thinks the game is not what it used to be before. He complains about pro players taking the game too seriously and making it "really painful" for others by tanking way too long in every spot. He's not the only one who has been complaining about the current situation of the game in the recent past. Other well known players also share his opinion with the likes of Steffen Sontheimer and Daniel Cates.

Bill Perkins went even further stating he won't play another tournament without a shot clock. Notorius tankers of the game are people like Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Byron Kaverman or Christopher Vogelsang.
