Online high stakes results for October - Ravenswood13 in the lead

The dutch high stakes regular managed to win $322,147 in only 7,888 hands. He mainly played at the 8-game tables - winning $159,012 in this format -, but also made huge money playing Omaha H/L ($90,187) and PLO ($72,947). The second most winningest player of the month was Timofey "Trueteller" Kuznetsov who earned $201,858 during 6,196 hands. The Russian is the biggest winner in 2017 so far with $1,674,712 in winnings, followed closely by Swedish enigma BERRI SWEET ($1,431,900) and online legend Viktor "Isildur1" Blom ($1,372,894). The 4th place on this list is taken by Ravenswood ($1,080,669).

 

The biggest loser of the month is online veteran Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro who managed to lose a whopping amount of $494,941 extending his lead on the negative list for the year (-$1,235,255). The second player with the worst results is long time high stakes player Dani "supernova9" Stern who dropped -$777,373 this year.

 

Stern announced his retirement from poker a few weeks ago on Twitter. Many of his peers payed their tribute to him but there were some who pointed out the possible link between his poor results and his announcement. What do you guys think about his decision?
