WSOP releases full schedule for 2018

After accidentally leaking a draft on their website last week, WSOP has now officially announced the full schedule for next year.

The series, which takes place in its usual venue, the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, starts on May 30, at 11:00 AM with the $565 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold'em tournament. The $10,000 Main Event kicks off on the 2nd of July at 11:00 AM with Day1A. WSOP offers a total of 78 gold bracelet events for the players.

Nine events have been added to the list, including the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop, after a four-year hiatus. As it's known Dan Colman was the lucky one to take down the event last time, cashing for a ridiculous amount of $15,306,668, while the first-ever champion of the event, Antonio Esfandiari earned even more with his $18,346,673 score - still standing as the biggest tournament cash ever. The event with its whopping buy-in will certainly attract the creme of the poker world.

Dan Colman needs a big wallet

Some of you may have noticed that one famous event is missing, the High Roller for One Drop. However, WSOP staff made sure Doug Polk gets a chance to win his favourite event, as they added Event #5: $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller to the list. The One Drop, starting on the 15th of July will be the last event of the series.

The new events:

$10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo Bounty
