Invite-only Super High Roller Bowl to be held in Macau
One of the biggest poker tournaments on the globe has gained a foothold in the biggest gambling hub in the world.
The SHRB is a must for all of the big timers
The $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl in Aria Casino, is certainly an event, every player wants to join. The huge prize pool attracts top-notch players as well as accomplished businessmen.
"We are delighted to launch a new edition of the Super High Roller Bowl with Poker Central,"
After several successful tournaments went down in Las Vegas the event is moving to overseas in form of a 49 player cap invite-only format. SHRL China will take place at the Babylon Casino in Macau Fisherman's Wharf on March 20-22. The guaranteed prize pool will be HK$100 million (~12.8 million USD) but the unlimited re-entry option promises even bigger prizes.
Sampson Simmons, vice president of content at Poker Central expressed his enthusiasm for the tournament. “As the annual Super High Roller Bowl out of Las Vegas continues to be the gold standard for high roller tournament poker, we knew the time was right to expand the format globally. “China is one of poker’s largest markets, and Macau Billionaire Poker is a natural partner to help bring the Super High Roller Bowl series to poker fans internationally.”
Poker Central will be teaming up with Macau Billionaire Poker (MBP), a company established in 2010, aiming to develop the game of poker in Asia. Since 2012, they've partnered with several organizations to hold the most exclusive tournaments in Macau.
“We are delighted to launch a new edition of the Super High Roller Bowl with Poker Central,” said Tim Chen, CEO of Macau Billionaire Poker. “We wanted to raise the stakes by providing a prize pool befitting of the event’s renowned stature – we can’t wait to see what unfolds at this inaugural event.” - said Tim Chen, CEO Of MBP. The HK$2,100,000 event will run with a 5% fee and an additional 3% administration fee.
We certainly can't wait to see, who catches the first place prize, which will be one of the biggest scores of 2018.
