An online qualifier is the new fan favorite at EPT Monte-Carlo

Hungary's Krisztián Györgyi, who got into the Main Event by winning a $5 satellite online brings some much-needed excitement to the tables.

The EPT Monte-Carlo €5,300 Main Event generated a total of 777 entries, creating a €3,768,450 prize pool. The field has reduced to 10, with all players locking up €44,100 at least. Household names with the likes of Partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Germany €25K High Roller champion, Patrik Antonius, German high-roller specialist, Ole Schemion, and American high-stakes pro, David Peters are amongst the final 10.

Ole is leading the field with a stack of 5,255,000, followed by Tomas Jozonis from Lithuania, who has 5,065,000 chips. However, Krisztián Györgyi from Hungary has become the biggest attraction of the event, thanks to his emotional celebration after winning a hand for his tournament life.

The legendary hand started with Dan Abouaf raising to 32,000 and was called by Federico Petruzzelli and Gyorgyi as well. On the flop of ♥A♥K♣K Abouaf continued with a bet of 26,000, Petruzelli called only to fold to the 140,000 check-raise from the Hungarian. Dan made the call. The ♥2 hit the turn and Krisztián continued with a 200,000 bet. Petruzelli moved in and Gyorgyi made the called for his remaining 427,000. What happened next is one of the most hilarious scene ever at a poker table:

Even though, the title says "We won!" in reality the qualifier said the following:

"There it is, f**k yeah, what's up!? What's up, f**k it!"
"What's up!? What's up!?"
"I'm Gyuri
(short version for Györgyi in Hungarian) from the hill!"
"I love you, my mother, f**k it! I love you!"
"Gyuri from the hill, f**k it!"

Much to the delight of the viewers, the Hungarian player is still in, sitting on a decent stack of 45 big blinds. Follow the action live here:
