Steve O'Dwyer takes down back-to-back high-rollers at LIVE MILLIONS UK

After winning the £25K HR O'Dwyer goes on to scoop the £10K tournament as well.

The Partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK series has ended at the Dusk Till Dawn Casino, Nottingham, with 5 champions crowned in the 5 events, each walking away with a six-figure score.

Brandon Sheils was the first winner after he took down the £1,100 No Limit Hold'em - Millions UK Open #1 for £180,000 ($236,979). Then came Steve O'Dwyer, a familiar face in the high-roller scene, and he scooped the title and the £450,000 ($592,448) in the £25,500 High Roller to increase his all-time earnings to $24,389,000.

Greece's Ioannis Angelou-Konstas managed to be the last man standing in the £5,300 Millions UK Main Event, for £940,000 ($1,237,557) after beating Alex Foxen in the heads-up. He was followed by fellow Greek player Konstantinos Nanos, who managed to outlast a field of 833 for £84,014 ($109,102).

The £10,300 High-Roller attracted a field of 105, to create a £946,000 prize pool, with £314,000 to the eventual winner. As usual, when it comes to buy-ins of this caliber, the tournament was filled with top pros, with the likes of Preben Stokkan, Dominik Nitsche, Anton Wigg, Mustapha Kanit, Adrian Mateos and Joao Vieira.

The Italian crusher, Kanit got pretty unlucky, when he ran his jacks into the aces of Nitsche's to become the bubble-boy, exiting empty-handed. Unlike him, Spaniards Juan Pardo and Adrian Mateos both made the money but busted before the official final table was set, just like Uruguay's Fabrizio Gonzalez.

It was England's Antony Elliot who became the first casualty of the final table when he ran with Ace-jack into Ace-king against Nitsche. Elliot left to pick up his £35,000 ($45,448). He was followed by Portuguese Joao Vieira, who was unable to win a race, holding Ace-king against the pocket eights of Michael Zhang's. Vieira walked away with £45,000 ($58,657) into his pocket.

Chris Brammer fell against fellow Brit, Michael Zhang with tens against Ace-queen, but the latter departed shortly after, despite busting two opponents in a row. The two countrymen earned £60,000 ($78,209) and £75,000 ($97,754) respectively.

O'Dwyer started dominating the table after this and went on to bust all three of his remaining opponents. Nitsche was his first victim when he showed down Aces against Ace-deuce in a blind versus blind preflop confrontation. Nitsche added £95,000 ($123,816) to his bankroll.

Norway's Preben Stokkan became 3rd when his jacks were outdrawn by the Ace-king of Steve's. The chips were in the middle before the flop and the US/Irish pro hit a king on the turn, to bust Preben. This third-place finish worthed £129,000 ($168,165) this time, for Stokkan.

Steve started the heads-up with a 2-1 lead over Gianluca Speranza, and despite the latter grinding the stacks back to even, managed to take down the event, holding Aces against 73s in the final hand.

With this win, O'Dwyer has $24,796,309 in total earnings, which is enough to get into the top ten on the All-time Money List.
