$100,000 Bathroom Challange ends earlier than expected

Surprisingly for many, Rory Young buys himself out for $62.5K.

“I underestimated his mindset, his resolve.

The prop bet, which is considered by many as the craziest bet ever, has been in the center of attention for the past few weeks now, and it finally ended with an unexpected result.

According to the original terms, Rich Alati had to spend 30 days in a completely dark bathroom, without access to Sunlight, human interaction or any electrical equipment, except for a refrigerator.

Most of the people believed the challenge is impossible to complete, many of them even stating such conditions can harm someone's health and mental state even after a few days. Even though later these opinions were denied by experts, there was no question about the bet being crazy and dangerous - at least up to some extent. However, Rich Alati made it through. Almost.

On Day 20 Rich and Rory Young agreed on a deal, which would mean, Rich can end the solitude and will also receive $62,400 from Rory. According to Young, negotiation started when he was in the bathroom to deliver food.

He originally offered $25K to Rich to leave immediately, but the latter - who was seemingly in a good spirit - instantly rejected. “At the last food drop, he was stronger than ever,” Young told The Action Network. “I underestimated his mindset, his resolve. I’m not disappointed I made the bet, I thought I had the better side, but he has exceeded all my expectations.”

While no one know is Rich would've been able to stay in the room for the full 30 days, Rory's intention to buy himself out can indicate that Alati was doing pretty okay in his "cell".
