2019 US Poker Open is about to kick off

The prestigious high-roller championship will bring ten events with buy-ins ranging between $10,000 and $100,000.

The first US Poker Open(USPO) kicked off last year bringing an overwhelming success. The world's best high-roller regulars attended the tournament festival, held in the Aria Resort & Casino, Las Vegas.

Household names with the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Brian Rast, Justin Bonomo, Ike Haxton, Jason Koon or Stephen Chidwick were standing in lines to enter the tournaments. The inaugural event was conquered by Chidwich, who managed to take down two of the events (as we reported here and here) and also adding a 3rd and a 2nd place finish, to end the festival as the overall champion.

The second edition of the series will kick off on the 13th and offering world-class action up until the 23rd, with a total of ten events. This time the overall champion will receive an additional prize of $100,000 on top of their winnings, which makes the competition even tenser.

The most popular formats will all represent themselves, as there will be several No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha events, as well as a Mixed and Short Deck tournament.

The buy-ins will range between $10K and $100K. The opening events will be available with a "smaller" $10,000 price, while all of the participants will need to reach one-hundred-thousand-deep into their pockets.
