Orpen Kisacikoglu takes down €100K Triton event at partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Europe

The Turkish high-roller booked a €1,040,000 for the win after beating Vladimir Troyanovksiy heads-up.

The Triton Super High Roller in King's Casino, Rozvadov generated 32 entries, who created a prize pool of €3,040,000 at the partypoker MILLIONS Europe. This is the biggest-ever score for Kisacikoglu, who now has over $4.3 million in total live earnings.

The field was filled with hotshots, including top-notch players and wealthy businessmen alike. While they didn't make the money, household names with the likes of Phil Ivey, Ole Schemion, or Igor Kurganov all entered the event, with the latter firing two bullets.

Unlike Igor, who busted as the bubble boy, Orpen made good use of his third buy-in, as he managed to turn his €300,000 into €1,040,000.

The second day started with the 18 survivors from last night, and Rui Cao joined the field shortly after the day kicked off.

One of the most shocking hands in poker went down at Rozvadov this day for sure, which saw a four-way preflop all-in. Michael Chi Zhang held ace-queen suited, while Kristen Bicknell, Phil Ivey, and Kahle Burns all had him beat, holding queens, kings, and aces respectively. The hand ended up in a pretty unexpected way, watch the video below:

Thanks to hitting a one outer, Bicknell avoided elimination and continued with a healthy stack.

In the meantime, Ivey, Rui Cao, Richard Yong, Tony G, Zhang, Choon Tong Siow, Martin Kahbrel and partypoker Pro Sam Trickett all left empty-handed.

The final table of eight saw Michael Addamo busting first, after failing to hit anything holding ace-nine against the pocket fives of Ben Heath's. With six places paid and seven players left, the field reached the bubble, and it was Igor Kurganov, who played the unlucky role of the bubble boy.

Considering he also busted one place short of the money in the biggest poker tournament in history, it's safe to say these were not Igor's weeks.

Despite holding the chip lead at some point, Bicknell eventually had to settle for 6th place and €213,000.

Even though he didn't make a profit, PokerGO founder Cary Katz at least minimized his losses, as he managed to get 5th for €273,000 after re-entering twice.

Son of Triton founder, Richard Yong, Wai Kin has been enjoying quite an upswing in the past two weeks. After taking down an event and finishing as the runner up in another one, he now got 4th in Rozvadov, for €349,000.

The chips went back and forth between Heath, Kisacikoglu, and Troyanovskiy for some time in the three-handed period, before Ben busted in 3rd place. He lost a huge run with ace-ten against the deuces of Orpen's. The young pro walked away with a €455,000 prize.

The heads-up play lasted for about 45 minutes between the Turkish and the Russian. In the final hand, both of them flopped top pair, with Orpen holding the bigger kicker. The board ran out clean, meaning Troyanovskiy was out in second place for €710,000, while Kisacikoglu booked his first-ever seven-figure score, in form of a €1,040,000 payday.
