Big Wrap Returns to Rozvadov

The first edition of the PLO festival enjoyed widespread popularity last year.

The inaugural PLO Big Wrap festival kicked off this March at King's Casino, Rozvadov and despite some skepticism towards the PLO-only schedule, it went down successfully, with plenty of PLO players showing up to play.

In addition to the two tournaments, more than 40 cash game tables were running at the time, with only two NLH tables. Last year, the €550 Warm-up event generated 416 entries for a €288,325 prize pool. It was Alessio Pillon, who conquered in the smaller event, taking home €43,495 after defeating Richárd Tóth heads-up.

The €2,350 event had 412 runners, so this event also exceeded the €1,000,000 GTD with €1,078,440 in the final prize pool. Spaniard Lautaro Cabrerizo was the last man standing in this event, which made him €209,221.

This time, the schedule will be very similar. The same two tournaments will be available, with the identical €550 and €2,350 buy-ins. In addition to the events, plenty of satellites will be running during the festival, with the first one kicking off on Monday, 9 September. The festival will offer a full week of PLO action up until September 16.

Just like last time, plenty of cash game action will be guaranteed this time, probably including some extremely high-stakes featuring casino owner, Leon Tsoukernik and his companion.
