The 2019 World Series of Poker Europe is getting closer to its end, but there are still several exciting tournaments to follow, as the €100K Diamond High Roller, the €2,500 Short Deck, and the €10,350 Main Event will all continue today.

Event #12: €100,000 Diamon High Roller

The event generated 72 entries total, so the prize pool grew to €6,840,000, with the top 11 spots paid. The field has already reached the money, as there are only eight players left. It was former WSOP Main Event winner, Ryan Reiss, who busted in 11th place, cashing for €154,285.

He was followed by Triton co-founder, Paul Phua, and Germany's Daniel Pidun, who both booked a €177,477 win.

The rest of the field is all guaranteed for at least a €212,504 payday, but considering the lineup, none of these guys will be satisfied with less than the €2,172,104 top prize.

After finishing as the runner-up to Leon in the €100K King's High Roller, Phil Ivey made yet another final table in a high buy-in event, and despite returning to the final table with only 10 big blinds, he'll certainly be a force to reckon with.

Germany is represented by two high-roller specialists, Ole Schemion (5,900,000) and Christopher Vogelang (15,385,000), the biggest stacks belong to Bioderma founder, Jean-Noel Thorel (26,085,000), Matthias Eibinger (27,445,000) and overwhelming chip leader and partypoker pro, Anatoly Filatov (42,300,000).

The action will continue at 2 p.m. local time with 120,000/240,000/240,000 blinds and button ante.

Event #13: €2,500 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em

The newest format of the game is rapidly gaining popularity both live and online, so it was no surprise to see the €2,500 event attracted 147 entries on the first day.

Only 35 of them advanced to Day 2, but the registration is open until the start of Level 13 today, at around 4:30 p.m. so we're likely going to see new faces join the fun.

Arturs Scerbaks from Latvia will start the day as the chip leader, with a stack of 643,000. However, the field is filled with top-notch players with the likes of Shaun Deeb (95,000), László "omaha4rollz" Bujtás (181,000), Kahle Burns (481,500), Benny Glaser (310,500) or Dario Sammartino (174,000).

Players will return to their seats at 3 p.m. local time, with an ante of 2,000 and a button ante of 4,000.

€10,350 Main Event No-Limit Hold'em

The Main Event started today, with 112 players entering during the first 4 hours of play. The registration is still open, and they even also has another starting flight. Last year it was Jack Sinclair who outlasted a field of 534 and took home €1,122,239 after defeating László Bujtás heads-up.

Both of them are in Rozvadov so they're likely going to take a shot at this year's Main as well.
