Eurosport Poker Joins the OnGame Network in France

Bwin has recently signed Eurosport Poker to the OnGame Network in France.

A popular brand all over Europe, Eurosport Poker and the Eurosport TV channel are owned by TF1, which already operates a UK-facing betting site on the OnGame Network.

Bwin also operates another brand in France, called Sajoo, a joint venture with the French Amaury group, which, together  with Bwin, was in the first wave of operators to receive gambling licences in France, following the introduction of the new French regulations by ARJEL on the 8th June.

Martin Lerby, head of the OnGame Network said: “Eurosport Poker is a brand with high recognition in all of Europe, so to have them joining us together with Bwin’s player base and Sajoo’s French heritage, we hold a three of a kind that puts us in a very strong position in France”. 

According to EGRmagazine.com, Lerby stated last month that  the the biggest opportunities for egaming operators can be found in the fields of poker, thanks to France’s new gambling legislation.
