A New Poker Book Bound to Raise Dispute

Team PokerStars Pro Dusty Schmidt has announced to be releasing a new book, titled ‘Don’t Listen To Phil Hellmuth: Correcting The 50 Worst Pieces of Poker Advice You’ve Ever Heard'.

Dusty ‘Leatherass’ Schmidt is known for his huge online winnings and unconventional views on poker. Having played more than 9 million hands online, Dusty has won almost $4 million during his five-year career. He has 66 consecutive winning months behind him, without ever having had to experience a losing one.
He is co-authoring this book with fellow pro Paul Christopher Hoppe, and promises to provide completely original poker education, correcting some of the biggest mistakes made in the history of poker tutoring.

Don't listen to Phil Hellmuth

Schmidt says that many poker pros have been using the 2003 poker boom to earn money and fame by publishing several books and essays on poker, in many cases coming to the wrong conclusion.

In this book, they will try to shed light on the 50 biggest misconceptions concerning poker. Their method is the following: Take a statement that is popular and said to be correct by a poker pro or authority, and then simply prove that it is wrong (either mathematically or logically).

They do not mean to be disrespectful with any poker pro (not even Phil Hellmuth), but correct their mistakes to bring poker tutoring to a new level by questioning some of things that are (according to them, wrongly) treated as the fundaments of the game.

The book can be purchased for $49.99 in both hard copy and e-book format.

If any of you guys decides to buy it, please don’t forget to inform us about the book by adding a short review in a comment!
