The $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed (Event #52) generated 518 entries, for a prize pool of $4,869,200, with 78 places paid. The remaining field has already reached the money, as only 50 players survived Day2. All of them are already guaranteed a $17,837 payday, but the $1.086 million top prize and the gold bracelet looks slightly better.
The seasoned pro, Daniel Alaei is the current chip leader, after ending the second day with 1,985,000. He's followed by several well-known pros, with the likes of Luke Schwartz (2nd; 1,700,000) who's just won a bracelet in the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw (EV#49), 2018 POY Shaun Deeb (3rd; 1,586,000) or online high-stakes PLO specialist, David 'danfiu' Mezei (11st; 850,000).
