The 'Poker Brat' was only was spot away from capturing his 16th WSOP bracelet.
The King's Casino in Rozvadov is still full of poker players, who try their best to win the golden bracelets at the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe. The €25,000 Mixed Games Championship attracted 45 entries to create a prize pool of €1,068,750.
The players reached the money when the field reduced to the final seven, with Alex Livingston walking away in 7th place, which earned the Canadian €38,389.
At this point, there were several short stacks at the table, but they all managed to find a double up to stay alive. Eventually, it was fellow Canadian, Daniel Negreanu who exited in 6th place, adding €54,287 to his bankroll. He was followed by France's Julien Martini, who picked up €77,502 at the cage after finishing 5th.

UK's Benny Glaser was next to go. The three-time bracelet winner won €111,689 this time. Ukrain's Dimitry Urbanovich - who claims he only travelled to Rozvadov for this event -, busted in third place, for €162,463, leaving Hellmuth and Besim Hot heads-up.
Hot, who started the final table as the chip leader, managed to sustain a comfortable lead until the heads-up, which he started with only a small lead over Hellmuth.
However, he managed to increase his lead and was shortly in a 7-1 advantage over Phil. "If this was a fight, I'd stop it," said Hellmuth, followed by a short "running hot" from Besim.
The final hand was a PLO hand, which saw both players flopping trips. However, Hot hit a full-house on the turn, which meant the painful 11th runner-up finish for Hellmuth. Besim Hot took down the golden bracelet and the €385,911 coming with it, which lifted him to the number one place of Switzerland's All-time Money List - overtaking the top spot from high-stakes killer Linus "LlinusLlove" Löliger.

"I played my game from the start, like always, and kept building pots. I didn't play my cards but the opponents. Most of my hands were bluffs, as you could see, especially in the big pots, and I forced my opponents to fold. It didn't really matter who was sitting at my table; I just play my game against Phil Ivey, Isildur, and all the others," said the champion afterward.
When asked about what his first bracelet means to him, he said "It is actually a long story. Some six or seven years, I was one of the best Swiss players and went to Las Vegas to win a bracelet for Switzerland. But because of my stupidity, I lost my entire bankroll on the first night and had to fly back home. They were all laughing at me."
However, Besim's future plans are still undecided at this time: "I don't really know yet what I will play next. If there is something interesting coming up, I always decide on short notice and based on gut feeling."
Hellmuth also had a 3rd-place finish just a few days ago and he's still pretty confident about the upcoming events. He's already busted the €100K High-roller.
