Miss USA 2010 Crowned in Las Vegas

Rima Fakih a 24-year old Brunette from Michigan is now Miss USA 2010 after winning the title this Sunday in Las Vegas. Rima managed to knockout 51 other competitors as she progressed her way up through the swimsuit, evening gown and interview competitions to secure the number one spot.

The Yearly Pageant that show cases the best girls from around the United States this year was held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Rima who was obviously nervous throughout the event almost stumbled at one stage in her evening gown. Inspite of this she still managed to keep her composure till the end to eliminate the final four blondes.

Rima Fakih is a Lebanese-American, who was born in Lebanon and grew up in the United States. She is the second Miss USA of Arab-American descent after Julie Hayek in 1983 who was also a Lebanese-American.
