As we have previously reported, business man and poker enthusiast Bill Perkins and ''King of Instagram'' Dan Bilzerian made a $1,200,000 prop bet (risking $600,000 each). Under the conditions of the bet, Bilzerian had to complete the bet by March 31, which gave him barely 1 month to prepare for the challenge.
The 35-year old poker player trained with Lance Armstrong to get in shape for the bet and started the ride last night.
Before starting the journey, Bilzerian made another huge bet, this time with Rick Salomon. Salomon put $250,000 against Bilzerian, who bet his Gulfstream IV Jet in return. Bill Perkins is streaming the challenge live on his Twitter [3] page, check it out for more updates!
