Paul and Darren Phua still under arrest, even though bail has been posted

 As we have previously reported [3], Macau high roller/billionaire businessman Paul Phua and his son, Darren Phua were amongst those arrested for organizing illegal sports betting in Las Vegas. We also reported that high stakes cash game pro Andrew Robl put up $1.5 million to clear the bail set by the judge, but the two Malaysian citizens are still behind bars, even though Phil Ivey also put up $1 million.

Agents with the ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement), took custody of the Phuas after their bail was posted, and their legal representatives were outraged by this fact, stating that their clients have passed every condition required for release, and were baffled by the fact that the ICE isn't responding to their inquiries about their clients' future, with deportation rumors floating around.

The Phua's bail was posted by high stakes cash game player Andrew Robl, who has been friends with them for years, and last week poker icon Phil Ivey also put up $1 million to cover the bail.

Another high stakes player involved in the case is Tom Dwan, who was with Phua and his son when the FBI raided them. Dwan questioned the methods the arresting FBI agents used when they raided the Caesars Palace suites. 

The FBI investigation is still in progress, and it's rumored that even more arrests are to come.
