Poker Pros Complain About Cap Pot-Limit Omaha

In recent times, most of the nosebleed cash games at Full Tilt Poker are cap PLO games. Many people seem to dislike this, including Patrik Antonius and Phil Galfond. 

Patrik Antonius has earlier expressed his feelings towards cap PLO in a video made for Full Tilt Poker, and now Phil ’OMGClayAiken’ Galfond joins him, saying that he detests cap PLO games.

“I really dislike cap PLO.  I think it’s a boring game with few complexities, and those complexities are more about math and running hand scenarios through calculators off the table than they are about psychology, leveling, and adjusting to opponents and game flow.  If cap PLO are the only games running, I’ll play, but I hope people start playing something else”, says Galfond in his most recent blog entry [4].

Well, if all of them hate cap games, I hope they will soon return to No-Limit and Pot-Limit high stakes action.
