Tom Dwan, who wasn't seen a lot in the live poker scene for a long time - not cashing in a tournament for years before March even [3] - showed up for the grand opening of a new luxury casino in Montenegro. He didn't go alone either, he was accompanied by a tall blonde and very attractive woman. He may even take part in some High Roller action in the new casino later.
The new five-star hotel and casino Maestral just opened on the little island of Sveti Stefan in Montenegro. It'll be hosting the 2017 Super High Roller Series there on their opening weekend - the HK$250,000 and HK$1,000,000 tourneys attracted the biggest names in poker.
Fedor Holz, absent from this year's WSOP is playing, so is John Juanda and Sam Trickett but probably the most attention was drawn by Tom Dwan. He hasn't entered the first tournament yet - late reg is still possible though - but it seems likely that the king of online poker during the Full Tilt days will also sit at a poker table in Montenegro, perhaps playing cash games only.

"Durrrr" may run into some awkward situations while in the small European country, however, since Daniel "Jungleman" Cates is also present at the casino opening high rollers. Cates is the poker pro who accepted Dwan's heads-up challenge [5] way back in 2010, and after Cates took a commanding lead, Dwan basically refused to play or buy himself out of the challenge. He has been criticized heavily by many in the online poker world, including Doug Polk for his refusal to play or pay Cates, yet he still showed no sings of intent to finish the challenge.
