On Monday, poker pro Vanessa Selbst appeared on the Steve Harvey Show's Female Ground Breakers episode, where she gave viewers a couple of tips for playing poker and played a couple of hands with Steve Harvey.
Vanessa Selbst is great ambassador for the game who has been involved in several events and shows that try to make the game more popular and she has also appeared in televised poker games such as PokerStar's The Big Game and Shark Cage.
On May 11, she appeared for a short, 8-minute segment on the Steve Harvey Show's Female Ground Brakers episode, and Harvey, while constantly making jokes, was impressed by Vanessa's talent and character and praised her for her poker achievements:
"Let me tell you something, as a female ground breaker... when you get to #1 in the poker ratings, out of 300 poker players, listen to me, you have got to know what you are doing. I don't care how long you keep that ranking at #1, the majority of poker players have never been #1, nor will they ever be #1. So I think ladies, you're looking at one of the true champs right here."
