Dan Colman biggest winner of the year with $22.3 million in winnings

Dan ''mrgr33n13'' Colman's 2014 is considered by many to be the greatest run in the history of poker. He won $22.3 million this year and is way ahead of WSOP Main Event champion Martin Jacobson ($10,7 million) and Daniel Negreanu ($10,2 million) on the yearly tournament money list.

Colman made his first score in January at the PCA where he finished in 27th place in the $25.500 High Roller for $59,300. Then he went on to win the EPT Grand Final €100,000 Super High Roller for $2.12 million, then won the Big One for One Drop at the WSOP for $15.3 million.

In July he finished 3rd in the Aria $100,000 Super High Roller ($796,000), finished runner-up in the EPT Barcelona €50,000 Super High Roller, won the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $5,300 Main Event for $1.44 million. In October he won the £60,000 WPT Alpha8 in London for $957,000, then finished the year with a seventh place finish in the HK$500,000 APPT Macau Super High Roller for $373,000. In total he has cashed in 11 tournaments in 2014.

The second on the yearly leaderboard is the Swedish champion of the 2014 WSOP, Martin Jacobson with $10,78 million, from which $10,000,0000 was from the Main Event title. He also finished fourth in the $25,000 Challenge at the Aussie Millions for $250,000 and final tabled the $100,000 Challenge aswell for $313,000 (8th place). Like Colman, he has also cashed in 11 tournaments in 2014.

PokerStars Pro  Daniel Negreanu finished in 3rd place on the leaderboard with $10,28 million. He cashed 13 times in 2014, 9 of these were in WSOP events. He finished second in the One Drop for $8.2 million, barely missed out on a bracelet in the $10,000 No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball ($156,000) and also cashed in the Aussie Millions High Rollers, he finished 6th in the $100,0000 Challenge for $492,00 and 4th in the $250,000 Challenge ($1.11 million).

Negreanu has increased his lifetime career winnings to $29.83 million with which he leads the all-time tournament money list.

The  top 5 is rounded out by Norwegian WSOP runner-up Felix Stephensen with $5.16 million and Big One 3rd place finisher Christoph Vogelsang ($4.53 million).
