EPT 11 Grand Final Main Event - Jose Carlos Garcia leads the field after Day 1
After the completion of both Day 1A and 1B, Jose Carlos Garcia emerged as the chip leader of the EPT 11 €10,600 Main Event, there are still plenty of big names in the room including EPT 6 Grand Final champion Nicolas Chouity, 2014 WSOP Main Event runner-up Felix Stephensen, Mustapha Kanit, Ole Schemion, Steve O'Dwyer and more. There are currently 299 players left of the 556 who registered and the plan for the day is to play six 75-minute levels.
The €10,600 buy-in EPT Grand Final Main Event kicked off on May 2 with all of the biggest names of poker. A total of 219 players registered for Day 1A and 113 of these advanced. By the end of the day, it was Jose Carlos Garcia who managed to build the biggest stack increasing his 30,000 starting stack to 182.800.
Day 1B saw 337 players register, and since registration is open until the start of Day 2, the total number could still increase. Several big names, including Daniel Negreanu, Christoph Vogelsang, Igor Kurganov, Phil Ivey and Max Altergott have already taken advantage of this option and joined the field.
Day 2 will start at 12:00 local time, the average stack is 55.785 and the plan is to play six 75-minute levels, you can check out the live stream from the feature table below!
